What did you do to your bagger today?
Rode to town, 35 mile round trip for some groceries. Hot, smokey from fires up north, and humid. Good news was there was a flag parade going on, for one of the presidential candidates. Won't say who since this isn't political forum, but you can guess which one has parades. Small town and there was about 40 vehicles, with lots of folks on the sidewalks.
My flag on my tour pak fit right in.
Made the trip worth it.

put some quality miles on it! took a ride to the abandoned coal mining town of Centralia, Pa. a small town in the coal region of Pennsylvania, the town has been burning from underneath since 1962, really erie to go through and see all the streets with no houses. The church in the picture has often been called the Silent Hill Church, it's actually still used on a regular basis, but creepy none the less.

Silent Hill Church
where the arrows are lays the old RT61, now known as graffiti highway, it was closed years ago because the heat from the underground fires made the road unsafe, from cracking and crumbling away. it has since been covered by dirt piles to keep people away.
abandoned municipal building and fire house. it still houses an old fire truck, looked to be from the 80's

Oh wow didn't know towns like that existed in the US. Kinda like a 3 mile island sort of thing.
the population slowly whittled away to single numbers sadly. there are a few stories how the fires started, not sure what to believe, but the fires have been going for nearly 60 years, and experts say, it could burn slowly for another 60yrs! it's so odd, because life seems 100% normal outside of Centralia itself
well obviously the grass is still mowed and taken care of, how hard is that? however, it is not used as a municipal building or fire house any longer

Took off the stock seat:
...and put on a Mustang LowDown:
Can't wait to try it out. Looks like it will give me the back support that I want, plus a little closer.

Got out for a sunny, 40 degree ride
Threw on the windshield for the first time ever, the height is good, but a lot of buffeting. It did make the ride less chilly. Lovin' the new seat though!
