Ordered a new voltage regulator after getting stranded across town. AAA responded quickly and politely.
once home, put battery on a charger and replaced the gasket on the front rocker box cover that’s been leaking.

I gave it a good bath, changed the spark plugs, then did a quick little project I have had the stuff to do for a couple months - switched out the yellow fork and red saddlebag reflectors for smoke. Then went on an evening ride without the windshield. The Road King is like a different bike without the windshield - very nice to have more wind in my face on the back roads, but definitely more work riding at highway speeds for any length of time.

My sporty was set up like a mini king. Took the windshield off one time for a back country ride, from home. To my liking, its ok up to about 45 or so, after that, I want comfort. I know guys that will not ride any other way.

Rode with my niece last year, from Phoenix, to the Superstitions, on this

Its a custom, and was kinda fun, till we hit freeway. At least I had a full face helmet, to ward off a couple huge bugs.

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY SICK! Looks like it would be a blast in the twisties. Looks just like a Performance Bagger RK.
