i don't like the single muff sound and it's too loud for my taste.can't afford to buy new, so i found some awesome deals on used take-offs.

FtUp - How did that happen? Rubbing against something? Or pinched?

I hope this counts. I had my bike delivered home after winter storage. Before they delivered they installed a set if Custom Dynamics Fillerz and a low profile LED tail light. They also replaced the battery (under warranty) due to a loose/broken post.

the battery rubbing up against the harness. there is nothing to protect the harness where it passes by the left side of the battery.

called harley warranty department because i wanted an official answer before i did my stage 1 myself today.
they said...

1. any tuner other than screaming eagle pro tuner will 100% void your warranty and the info will be stored in your bikes computer and flag it forever!
- so i paid $$$
2. they also said a non hd air clear will most likely void your warranty if future work is engine related
- so i paid $$
3. slip ons can be from any company as long as they are 50 state legal and epa certified.... which funnily enough comes down to half a dozen options, but that is moot because in the Screaming eagle tuner, it specifically asks and verifies that your "stage 1" is genuine SE parts in all 3 places!
- so i paid $$$$

i did the work myself (which turns out will "not necessarily void my warranty... unless something goes bad in the future and it can be traced back to something that could even remotely be tied to my stage 1)
so i saved $$, but may have ruined a $$$$$$ warranty lol

on the upside, i learned a few new skills and my electra glide standard runs like a thoroughbred!
