It's a start. Gotta start somewhere, right? I'm going for the same look with risers and mx bars on my RGU as well, but like you, I'm going to be installing the hardware to remove the tour pack when riding alone. Glad to finally see someone with MX Style bars on a RGU. haha....I don't think it looks bad at all.

Going on soon
@Mac daddy 103 what did you use to remove the sticky stuff on the tank? I've tried Goo Gone and it's not working very well.

Default I installed the Kuryakyn Dash

I had to do some modifying, but was able to make it fit nice. I did like the clean look.

that was what I used Goo Gone and still it was a mother trying to get it off. Just apply it and let it sit over night but still your gonna have to pick at it and when you think you have it all off...there’s still gonna be like a slight mark from the glue and that’s when your gonna have to dig real hard with your finger with a micro towel with goo gone. My bike is a light color but if you have a dark color I think from rubbing so hard might show some scratches, jmo good luck man

Haha, thanks. This bike started as a road glide standard and I didnt really want one at the time and the price was more than i wanted to pay. After some time and patience i have all the perks of one for under 1k including rebuilding a OE tour pack that I picked up damaged. I always like t bars and they work for me. Trying to build as fun for just me but also comfortable at times when my wife comes along.

YEP! i'm in the same boat. Love the look and feel of T bars. I have a dyna "Club" style. But I think once I get my RGU where I want it, maybe I'll sell the dyna.

This morning at about 3am I couldn't sleep so i installed a full Vance and Hines exhaust system I bought on eBay for next to nothing. Took me about 2hrs to remove the old 2-1 system and install the new one. Not too bad.

At around 515am I installed my new riot floorboards. They look great but will look much better when the matching brake peddle and shift levers come in.
