Finally got to install most of my latest audio project:

1. Color-matched custom color HD saddlebag lid speakers w/ Rockford Fosgate 6x8's;

2. Color-matched CVO speaker boxes/housings in the vented lowers w/ Hertz HCX 165's (previously the boxes/housings were unpainted and had very good value Infinity Reference 6.5's in them);

3. Hybrid Audio Technologies Unity series 6.5" components in the fairing with the tweeter mounted in a Hogtunes Hog Pod (install done by TIF2);

4. And, Polk DXi 6.5's in the tour pak speaker pods.

Running this with two fairing mounted Rockford Fosgate PBR300x4 amps mounted on top of the HK radio creates AMAZING sound.

Too cold to ride today (why does that always happen on the rare days when my wife and kids are out of town?), so I finally fixed up my garage door opener.

I ordered my FBI long fender today. Painted black, brake light, flush mounted turn signals, and brackets for a detachable sissy bar. Retail $1549. Ordered it from rockheadbikes.com for at a lower price. 4-5 weeks to get it. Hopefully it arrives before americade

Installed a fan assisted JAGG oil cooler and changed oil with Rogues oil scavenger and put on nightriders XIEDS.Next good day out i'll get and see how cool the bike runs.Its already hitting the mid 80's here in far west Texas,El Paso to be exact.
Everything was pretty straight forward as far as installation.It all took 3 hours at a leisurely pace.Can't wait to take it out.

It was a crappy day out, so I tore down the front fairing and installed a new color matched inner fairing, along with boom audio speaker pods for my tour pak. Also cleaned up the wiring inside the fairing while I was at it. Still gotta pull the tank and run the cables up under the tank, and get the dealer flash done, but it's pretty much a done deal at this point. What a huge difference that inner fairing made..

It makes a huge difference IMO. Gives it a different look.
