Installed passenger backrest. I dont care for the way it looks but makes the Wifey happy and if she's happy I'm happy.

Swapped the Rinehart quiet baffles back out for the standard ones. The quiet baffles are a bit quieter (naturally), but I didn't care for the sound. I thought they sounded choked, and it lost some of the deeper tones. The standard baffles are a bit louder, but have the Rinehart sound I like.

Changed the oil in my rear shocks to Bel-Rey 7W. I was a little surprised at how clean the existing oil was. My Ultra has about 8600 mile on the clock. About 6800 miles since September.

Thumbs up Wrapped Rinehart 4" Baffles

Wrapped my new 4" Rinehart's baffles with Moose fiberglass packing and it now sounds like my Dyna did with the V & H Big Shots on it. Just the way I like it!!

How tough was this? Is it much quieter? My 4" TDs are killing me...

Well it was more work going to get the packing then doing the work!! I lied about the packing, it is FMF 4 stroke packing: (1 package for each muffler)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ZTTFADJACP5DCP

Unbolt the endcap, pull the baffle, wrap the baffle with one package, I had some high temp fiberglass tape to wrap them, but it isnt required. Then install the baffle back in the pipe.

I also installed a 5/16" nut and bolt accross the baffle because the local LEO's like to stick stuff in your pipes!!! LOL!! (checking for straight pipes)

My Rineharts now sound like my old V & H pipes. it has a nice deep tone, without the crackle or bark it used to have.

Put a new "Big Crank" EXT 30L battery in it.
Battery 3.5 years old. I've had the bike 2.5 years(new) and been on a tender since day 1

Old battery seemed to be weak once but appears to have come out of it, and now seems to be good, so put it on a tender and put the new one in that showed it was charged 100%.

So now I have 2 batteries, a new one and one that is still good.
Better to be proactive than re-active I guess.

Painting the used FLTR lower fairings today that I just picked up on EBay. (Replaces the right lower unit destroyed when I hit the coyote last January,) from Candy Apple red to Vivid Black.

I'm no "Rattle Can Rembrandt," but I'll try to keep the orange peel to a minimum!
