60° here in STL yesterday and today, put 100 miles on the Glide. Would have been more but I took all of three of my girls for rides.

We have had a stretch of beautiful weather for the 1st week of Jan. here in Michigan!
But last night it snowed !
And now it's going to rain all afternoon and evening!
I sure wish I could have got out and enjoyed it.

But it will be a few months before I'm back in the saddle.
Got my follow up appointment with the surgeon tomorrow and start Pt on Wednesday.

Pulled the pain pump Saturday night and took a couple Tylenol..... and nothing since!

Don't think I'm going to even fill the Percocet script !

The pain has been very mild.
But I have a much larger incision than on the right shoulder I had done in 2015.

Glad everything is going well so far! What all did you have done? Clearly wasn't arthroscopic so I'm assuming you had a decent amount repaired. Heal up quick!

Drilled new holes in tour-pak plate to move pak back another inch. Also added a stud in the fender so putting seat back on easier to get nut on. Gave me more room.

Default Eliminated the heel shifter

Used the Kuryakyn heel shifter eliminater in gloss black-6433, to eliminate the heel shifter as I never use it...just can't get used to it.

Different strokes, I guess. I Loved my bikes with heel shifters. Didn't ruin the top of the left boot, buy up shifting with my toe. Hopefully you'll get used to the set up soon. tp.

Did the same thing a few months ago. I went the Paul Yaffe route. I like the extra room on the board (big feet), and the slightly outward position of the lever.

I did the same (except chrome) last year. I actually used and liked the heel shift, but on longer rides it was in the way and kept me from moving my foot back to change positions. I did floorboard extenders and extended brake pedal (both Kury also) at the same time so the relative position didn’t change much. I haven’t really missed the heel shifter at all.

I owned the longest pullback handlebar out there. for vertical challenged rider like myself. No more reaching out and can now lean back on my backrest. Thanks to a variety of handlebar makers.
