Decided to wash the bike from the last rain ride and cleaned the engine using Gunk Engine Shine. Decided to go for a little rip to get the smoke done with from the Gunk, and it rained a little along the way. Washed the bike again quickly and tucked it into the garage. I like the look of the Gunk, though.

Had to clean mine up a bit. Rode it down to my Dad's in Florida for a few days and then came back. About 300 miles round trip. Those of you not from the South probably don't have to deal with lovebugs. They're horrible and EVERYWHERE! If left on your paint it can eventually take the paint with it when they wash off. So it's best to clean them off right away.

These were on everything, mirrors, crash bars, fender, frame, tank front, all over my jeans, my shoes, floor boards, shifter, brake pedal, etc.

We started getting them around here again, recently, but the daily rains have kept the bike in the garage, looking good. Love Bugs do suck, for sure. tp dd50

My order from Dennis Kirk got here lightening fast compared to most international orders, so I decided to slap in the Sta-Bo II bushings that was in the package. They were really simple to install, it took longer to set the jack I think. Decided to polish the rear wheel while it was in the air and then pumped some grease into the head bearings. It is raining too bloody hard to put these bushings to the test, so I will have to wait to see if they are all hype or not.

Pulled off the tour pack, swapped out my Hammock seat for the mean city custom seat, and gave that money ***** a good wax job. After over 3 months of 100+ temps, it's been raining hard for over a week, supposed to get nice for riding season soon.

Finally did my oil change. Went out last weekend to warm up the oil and ended up going for a 3 hour ride, leaving no time to change it when I got back. LOL
Went out today, still ended up going for a longer ride than planed but at least I still had time when I got back.
