Scared the hell out of myself in the rain this morning. Came out of a sharp turn before or house. I slowed for the turn but as soon as i was out of the turn i gave it a little throttle and the bike started fish tailing. Tossed me up onto the fairing but I got it under control and saved it. Scary. Thank God for advanced rider course that taught me how to deal with exactly that situation.

GLAD you took the advanced course. I wish EVERYONE did. It so saddens me when my fellow bikers go down for any reason.
Again mate, NICE JOB and thank you for sharing a successful ending. I guess I could have said "happy ending" but nah...its not the same.

Rode yesterday from Seattle to Chehalis, stayed overnight, watched some teenager select team baseball (GF's son is a good ball player), and rode back today. Took highway 507 instead I-5 to enjoy the scenery - great roads, twisties and small Washington towns. Hit some dive bars in Chehalis last night. Best Western in Chehalis had a nice VIP like covered parking area for bikes right at the entrance, which was a pleasant surprise. Parked next to two gorgeous Milwaukee 8 bikes with Oregon plates. A great ride, about 2.5 hours each way, with good weather (today in high 70s and no humidity).
