What did you do to your bagger today?
Got the speakers and amp installed
The crossovers wouldn't fit in the fairing without ditching the pods which I've been wanting to do since I put the Polk DBs in not too long ago. The BT brackets are $250 and I couldn't justify spending that for what they are. This turned out well and only cost me $12 in metal and 3 hours of time. It doesn't have any play when pushing and pulling on the inner fairing and the outer fairing fits nicely. I was disappointed in the Focal tweeters missing extra components in the kit to give more mounting options. I didn't feel that were secure enough with just pushing the aluminum tweeter housing into plastic fairing and I questioned the little locking tabs holding it in with all the vibrating. So I have to improvise on those too and they are in there real tight with some rubber and a clamp! The BT line leveler will be here today to do away with the high level inputs and then it's time to tune!
Looks like Florida. It would be nice to have a little sunshine and warm weather. Must be hot this time of year!
