Well, visiting "Home" this weekend, so I went to my brother's house to remove his wheels (2006 FLHPi).
Tomorrow, we'll be heading to the local H-D Dealer for the swapping of his new tires, then re-install the wheels on his Road King.
I'm hoping to get it out and ride it a little before I have to head back North to Minn....

 

Rain out and in the forecast for today so I installed new Hogtunes 40.4 and 24.2 amps, 7" woofer kit in lowers, new speakers front and rear, and a tweeter bar....Will finish it up in the morning in time to go riding....Wired the GPS power in permanent while the fairing cover was off.....Built my own speaker grills for the front and they look great....Rear grills to match on the next rain day.....quick disconnect for the Garmin power.....Been busy...

 

Rode down to Ellis Island casino in sneakers and a jacket w/ a $5 cupon put $20 in a machine and played poker for a few got 4 3's walked out w/$207.50. Wow that never fuc&in happens to me. Then when I went to my 3:45 Dr appointment found out I rescheduled it for next Mon. Now that I know about cus I cant rember nuthin.

I rode it! 4:30 am to work, cold as heck, in the rain.

It was very refreshing.

 

Rode mine to work today too. Now not sure if "cold as heck" is the same in Ala as in NJ, but it was cold this morning at 5:15 (26 degree's on the thermometer hanging on the garage)

But it was a balmy 46 coming home this afternoon

Bought a new front tire for the 10 Ultra that has 18K miles. Got 20 percent off which the dealer does each Feb. Already got the rear tire at a previous sale. I will install them when I get back from this summers adventure ride which should be about 4K +. The rear should be to the wear bars by then. The front is not as worn but is starting to cup.

I did not get the thin white walls that come on the Ultra. Just got the black walls and saved $27/tire. I don't like cleaning them. Only did it once in the 18,000 miles and that was this past December when I took it in for the brake switch recall.

 

Managed to install the corvette shocks on the SG... With so little spare time, that's all I managed to do. The rest will have to wait...

 

Rode her hard, and put her away wet. Just like every other day.

 

Gave her a break today. Put a few miles on Sun - Mon - Tues.

 

.... 60 degrees in late february in colorado ....... even in the wind, i was overheatin' w/the neck gaiter
