Installed new SE compensator, Inner primary bearing race, inner primary bearing. Put her back together and changed all the fluids. Tomorrow she will get a bath and then we are off on a 2000 mile road trip through GA and TN.

Guess you'd say I'm new here since I haven't been active in about 15 years when I stopped riding for a while due to small kids and life... Sold my 01 RKC back then and recently picked up this one a 04 RKC from a good friend in KY. First time back in the saddle and I was riding it home to NC. Broke it up into two days due to weather and not having ridden in so long but still loved the trip even if we both got baptized along the way.

Since picking her up about 6 weeks ago and the wife and I have put 2,000 miles on her and made a few upgrages for safety and comfort:
  • New Michelin Commander IIs front/rear
  • LED upgrade all the way around
  • HD Tallboy Seat
  • Used Leather Tourpak
  • New bars with a 4" rise
  • New grips since the old ones were coming apart

22,000 miles on her in total and love being back in the saddle.

Thank you.
The LEDS in the lids work as run, brake, and turn signals as well.

Default Completed summer upgrades

Tore bike down, polished and buffed all chrome. Stripped and powder coated all brackets, trans linkage and supports. Polished rotors and rims. New brakes, new brake fluid. Replaced clutch. New tires and wheel bearings. Changed all fluids. This was a 2 month project.

First ride was today, rode 175 miles thru lower Alabama and North west Florida. It was like I was riding a brand new bike! I love my 07. No need to buy a new bike now.
