Got the rear tire replaced...at the local YAMAHA dealer! Unfortunately all my HD stealerships charge $80 to $100 per hour labor (with a one hour minimum) and their HD Dunlops are $40-$60 more per tire. Yamaha labor was only $48/hour. I thought it was strange that a Yamaha dealer carries HD Dunlops. Good service though. 40 minutes and I was back on the road.

Brukus KickShoe, Saddlebag Secure, and installed one (1) Iron Braid lever on the bike. Finished the clutch side, brake side tonight. Still a little weary of the brake light switch.

Default What I did today to my Road reKliner (00 Road King)

Installed my 08+ front calipers (on my 00 Road King)--They look sweet and should stop better with the matching 08+ H-D Teardrop rotors.)

Changed my rear brake pads--Looks the same; should help stop better

Installed my new C&C Solo Seat (plain black "Mercedes" vinyl)--Looks very sweet! (Wife was not thrilled about new pillion that came with it, however. It's narrower than the Sundowner it's replacing.)

Cleaned the wide whitewalls with Westley's Bleche White--They look much better

Then went inside for dinner.

Put on a new rear tire, fab'd some older style(late 80's-early 90's)saddle bag filler strips, painted them satin black to blend in with the classic leather bags, cut 3" off the windshield, quick detail, headed out for a ride later today.
