Default Turn Signal help

My left front turnsignal is acting odd. I'm getting four regular speed flashes, then it starts blinking really fast. I've checked the bulbs and they are all fine (checked the right side also while I was at it) What is weirder is that the front left turn signal blinks off and on, instead of brighter and regular illuminitation.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have about two weeks left of warentee and if I can't figure this out myself, I need to get my bike in the shop. (and I'd rather not have to deal with a dealer)

Thanks,
mikebaby

Even though the bulbs look fine, try changing the left bulbs.

I tried that first, The new bulbs behave just like the old.

Did you have any work done on the switch housings like changed to chrome, etc? If so check for pinched wires.

You might try a new flasher just for grins and giggles .... I've had some success with this in cars. Just my.02 cents worth. BTW ... do you have a trailer hitch and wire harness on the back .... if you do check that and the connections there first.

I would try taking all of the bulbs out (even the ones that appear to be ok) cleaning the contacts and adding a dab of dialectic grease.

Well I broke down and took my bike to the dealer. Looks like a 'pigtail' needed replaced. All is well now, and no charge under warrentee.

Is it normal to not recieve anything to sign or any paperwork when you pick up something on a warentee claim?

Not normal in our shop. Sign and receive a copy of the work order.
