Well lets see.......i removed the entire exhaust from my 2009 street glide and started over with new headpipes and mufflers from V&H.. (ho slipons and power duals headers.. all i can say is that the headpipes dont fit by a mile. i mean not even close. they fit in the heads perfectly but after that none of the brackets lines up with mounting blocks on pipes and i cant get the mufflers to fit into the pipes either they go on .25 inches. thats it. poorest quality exhaust i have ever used. never seen anything like it. has anyone else had this problem with V&H??????????????
just installed my 2 into 1 V&H propipe. Fit and finish was great and the install went perfect. Everything lined up and slipped right on. No problems. Sounds great and no regrets.BTW, V&H includes its own bracket that mounts the exhaust to trans. It does not use the stock "L" bracket with 1 bolt. It has a very sturdy "U" bracket that attaches with 2 bolts and uses 2 more bolts for the exhaust. Very well thought out as it reduces tilting and is more secure. Bracket is welded all the way across on top and bottom.

Just did mine a month ago. With power duals and HO muffs the heat shield on the right side needs to be tucked into the muffler it doesn't just butt up like the left side. Found this out by calling V&H once informed of this not problem getting things mounted .
Very suprised, I have used V&H products on a lot of my bikes and on my new one now. Always was impressed with fit and finish. I would call customer service and let them know.
I had V&H Dresser Duals on my King, and now have Power Duals and Monster Ovals on my Glide. They come with different brackets, which lined up perfectly.
