Hey everyone. I am wondering what type of adhesive should be used on the two metal plates that are on the saddle bag lids. Their the ones that latch onto the bracket on the saddle bag latch. They are coming off before going to the painter, and wanted to use the right glue?? when I put it back on. Thanks for your help again. Love the forum.

I had the same question after my parts came back from the painter. After debating what to do , I went to my local HD dealer and asked the parts guy. To my suprise they had new ones in stock with the adhesive already attached, 20 bucks for all 4, end of story.
