The switch in the link is not a momentary it is a push on push off.

Pretty sure you can buy the momentary type switch at your HD dealer. The same one that changes your odometer mode. Not too expensive either as I recall.

You could go to the dealer and get the speedo reset switch and boot. 67450-99 switch 67880-94 boot. These part numbers are out of an 05 parts book should still be good.

Just tie into the high beam switch, then you wont have to remove your hand off the bars, Cost 0.00
I connected mine right at the head lamp plug. Just opened the back of the connector and soldiered my wire on and closed the connector after finished.

Here is the one I ordered. $3.95 with the rubber cover.
Little Pushbutton Momentary Switch (5A) Tall

Small push button momentary ON switch with rubber cover and 12cm (4 1/2") leads. Leads are 4.5" (11.5 cm).
Fits in a 3/8" (9 mm) hole.
NOTE: This switch will fit panels up to 5mm in thickness.

It is about the third or fourth product down.

They have both momentary and on / off. Make sure you get the momentary for the garage door mod.
