Default Harley wheels

I want to change my laced wheels for mag style wheels on my 2000 R.K. what years did harley use 3/4" axles (which I believe mine are). Also does anybody make a kit or adapters so that I can make larger diameter axles fit my R.K. I really like the 28 spoke chrome wheels that are on the ultras but axles size is different. Is there anything I can do? Thanks!!

You should be able to press in the 3/4" wheel bearings into the new 1" wheels.

Whoa, aren't you going to need to change out the swingarm to the 2002-and-later version as well as brake parts front and rear as well as lower legs to run the new axle? Sounds like you're going to need a couple of extra wallets for this job! Do a search on "newer swingarm" and you'll read all about it...or check your mail.

If I am not mistaken the later models 25mm and different from the 1 inch? I know 25mm is close to 1 inch does this make a difference? All so keep in mind later models have different wheel and tire sizes. When did they go to the 17 inch front wheel I guessing 2009 but not sure.

I have a set of anniversary 2003 9 spoke rims sitting here that you can have for a great price if you are interested. 3/4" axles. The front wheel has a good tire on it. The rear has no tire. One of the wheels needs new bearings, I cannot remember which right now. Sorry to completely hi Jack your thread, but I thought I could hook you up. these rims have polished aluminum lips and gold spokes and were only available on the 2003 anniversary bikes in this color configuration. I see you are new so email if you are interested at DREW@DRVTWIN.COM or if not just ignore.

Thought all touring bikes when to 1 inch in 02 on the rear and 01 on the front? I know my 02 Ultra both are 1 inch or are the wheels you have for something other then a touring bike?
