OK GUYS just trying to get a grip on what it should cost for new rear tire, elite 3s on rear of my 06 roadking and rear brakes.anybody have any insight?
If you are doing the work about 160 for the rear tire & 50 for the pads. My dealer told me 300 for rear tire on my 09 SG & 60 for the pads if I had the pads done at the same time as the tire. I did mine myself, took the money I saved & went riding & had lunch.

No Comparison, totally different tire size.
OP has an 06.
~118 for the tire at jakeWilson.com then ~$30 for a indy to mount and balance. ~$35 for pads I think jakewilson also has EBC pads #FA400HH
Is that mount and balance with the will on the bike or off?
There are several variables in the original question one being what pads you get and from my experience there is a BIG difference in pad quality as well as where you get your parts. For the whole job done at a good indy shop I would say around $200 or a little more.
It does when you're putting a "COST" to it as this is what was being asked by the OP.
The cost of an E3 can and will be different from one supplier or dealer to another as would the cost of a tire sized for an '06 or an '09. But again, tire prices can vary considerably with tire sizes not being the only factor. The OP is looking for what it should cost. What he will get is a range of prices based on what others have paid for the same tire and installation costs.

And this is what I was refering to...not the same tire, as in reference to size 06 vs's 09. Just to mention also, I didn't say anything about the tire size being the only factor in my original post.
