Angry 2011 Ultra Limited CB Problems

I'm not sure where to put this so I'll try here. I just got my Untra back from the third attempt to get the CB to work. It has the message "com option not installed see dealer". The dealer now says that this is a known issue and there will be a fix or recall soon, maybe two weeks or so. Does anyone else have this issue or know if they are trying to BS me. As a side note the trip odometers will not reset most of the times after I fill up the tank.

Sorry to hear this and is one of the reasons I will never buy another new Harley. Not sure this will work but get in touch with the people you financed the bike through and tell them you are having problems unless you paid cash. I am all so sorry to say Harley and the steelerships are known to BS there customers.

I traded in a Wing and paid the difference in cash so no financing. Maybe HD will come up with a fix soon.

I have never even tried to use the CB on my 11 Limited, I guess I should give it a try. Not heard of any issues though. Breaker/ Breaker

I had mine a couple of months before I tried to use the CB and had to verify with the dealer that it was supposed to be installed. Now I know it's supposed to work I want it to work and I'm don't like having to go back and forth to the dealer and still have no resolution.

I will definitely test mine out now that I know someone is having problems. I also shot an e-mail off to my dealer to see if they have heard of this. I will let you know.

Not that it will ever happen but it could come in handy if I have problems in an area that doesn't have cell coverage. I do most of my riding alone. Besides that it's something I paid for that doesn't work.

Mine's a 2010 and I have not had a problem. It came in handy for me last Sep. returning to ATL from the Eastern Shore. Got caught in rain for about 300 miles of the trip. Listening to the 18 wheelers help me avoid a couple of issues on the road. I also got to hear how crazy they thought I was for riding in the rain.
