Do you have a Batteries Plus store in town? Same Deka as HD for a lot less.

 

Paid 145.00 at batteries plus w/ 2 yr warranty.

 

$93 Deka same as HD and that was shipped about a week ago.

 

how do you guys feel about gel-cells

 

IT is what it is. Ya play, ya pay. I do have to say that for the most part, the HD batteries have seemed to be a pretty good one. Never hear too much bad about them.

 

Bought a battery 4 my RK from Parts Unlimited last year, worked 4 about 2 days, turned out battery was bad. Took back & got HD battery, never a problem, I'll pay 4 the piece of mind.

 

True, but the same thing happens with the HD battery. Buddy just had it happen. He was just under a year and they pro-rated it and got charged just under the cost of a new battery.
Yes, he got hosed.

 

I see you are from Madison Wisconsin. Go to Farm and Fleet and ask for the battery in the link here. It is made by East Penn Mfg and is the exact same battery as OEM as they are the MFG for Harley batteries. $99.99
