Default flhrs dudes, removing duckbill?

Has anyone done this? 67868-03 and 67866-03 (clamp cover and trim piece)are the 2 part numbers I researched on this forum and seems that I need. Thanks for helping.

yep, that was the first thing I did when I bought an FLHRS in '04.

Lake Shore Harley gives 20% parts. www.lshd1.com

same here - I went to a Reckless Motorcycles Fairing and had to remove the DuckBill and trim piece so I had to find the Standard Road Kind bars cover and trim piece. Simple job...

piece of cake. new riser, new trim spear, completely new look. if you're gonna buy the parts used (got mine off ebay for really cheap) watch out for the 'newer' riser cover. while its a great idea to have the removeable plate on top so you can adjust your handlebars, it won't fit (or so i've been told)
