I just put my original primary gasket back on for the 3rd time since buying my bike in O7. Torque it back to specs and bolt pattern sequence, it won't leak, ask me how I know.

I ordered a primary gasket from Jireh just a couple months ago and it cost like 11 bux, did the price jump when fuel jumped?

I haven't bought a primary cover gasket in many years. On both my current bikes i've had the covers off several times and just reused the same gasket. So far no leaks. I figure when/if it starts leaking i'll buy a new gasket. Primary covers only take a few minutes to pull so not a big deal. If i added it up, i've probably saved $400 by just using the same gaskets.

I just bought a primary gasket from my stealer for $54.98... That's what it's like living up in Northern B.C.

Should have told them you didn't need the wrapping.
