Default Limp Mode???

Come on....these are HARLEY-DAVIDSONS!!! They should change the name of this engine state to STAGGER MODE!! That sounds much more in keeping with the fine tradition of Harley-Davidson!

No doubt. Even "Extreme Power Saving" mode would make it sound more like a "feature" --

It's not something you can turn off -- It's a malfunction. I hope the dealer fixed it... It hasn't happened recently.

Wow. Tough crowd!

It was a joke! "Limp" mode! The rough, tough Harley guys in "Limp" mode......vs. "stagger" mode.....stagger vs. limp??? Harley guys being willing to admit to staggering, but not to being limp?

Ok.....never mind......

Maybe, just maybe, HD named things right for a change.......

After all; "What is the average age of male HD owners?"

Just my thought for today.......

No, we're talking about when the ECM malfunctions and it only lets you get up to 20 MPH (and it takes about 400 yards to get to that speed).

I know a few '11's that wound up having a bad connector on some thingamajiggy -- Mine included, so far. No problems as of yet since the connector(s) was replaced.

That all said, no doubt, "Limp mode" sounds goofy -- But if that's the fix most of the time, they could use a "Little purple connector" as a fix... Hey, go with it, right?
