Red face It's been a long battle...

...but I think I found THE bike. It's a 2003 Road King 100th Anniversary edition. I never knew how amazing these bikes were to ride. I truly could not believe how smooth this beast of a machine took the turns, curves, and how she opened up! I struck (well, what I think) is a pretty good deal with HD and I think maybe tomorrow I'm gonna pull the trigger....Does anyone here think that a '03 RK100th Ann. Ed. with 22008 miles on it is worth 9500? Everyone I have spoken with says it's an incredible deal....well just felt like sharing...oh and this is my first Harley too!

That's a fair deal, especially if it's something that you really like.

If it's "THE" one like you said, then it sounds fair.

i have a friend who had an 03 anniversary road king just like the one you mentioned. he traded it in to get a new 2011 ultra classic limited. he's not happy at all with his new bike. his old 03 was really sharp and a very dependable bike. the price does not sound bad at all, and only you can make the call. it's your money, and if the 03 decides to go home with you, i'm sure you'll be very happy with it.

Did you check the NADA book? It's similar to the Kelly Blue book but most Dealerships go by that.

..it's funny to me how most are saying it's just a "fair deal"..I think when you look at it overall it's a GREAT deal...that's a bike that someone probably paid about $18,000 for new..it's a 100th..(the only anniversary that really matters)...mileage is perfect for it's age...and the Road King is probably Harleys best All-Around touring(big enough, but able to be stripped down without a fairing in front of you)...and you get all that for HALF-PRICE!....go for it!
