I was interested in these too. But then I read on an earlier thread that these suffer from cracking issues, particularly with those using the optional rack that goes on the lid. If I got one I'd get some fiberglass repair kit at the autoparts store and reinforce it first.
Orcas Tow's backrest reinforcement is dang good. Makes me wish I had metal working tools!
For what it's worth

I have taken numerous trips with my Mutazu TP and stuffed that box absolutely full with heavyweight clothing and have had zero problems, including riding in steady rain with no leakage. And I posted before that I loaned my friend this box touse on hisRK Custom when we went to Sturgis last summer onwhat turned out to be a 4,750 mile, ten day trip, and he thought it was great not only for its storage, but also because itprovided a good rider backrest for him.
But if someone has had a problem with this product, I'd like to know about it and the particulars of the use and problem.
Edit: Here's a pic of the box on my bike from July '05 just before leaving from Metro Atlanta for a trip to Toronto; I have made so many changes to the bike since then it was good to remember what it used to look like:
