i like both blacks , my fat bob is vivid , i also liked the denim , but it looks a little like powder coat to me , no contrast between the engine casings and the bike , i think it looks very plasticey on the SG fairing as well , polishing out miner marks and scratches will be easier on the shinny paint surfaces , as would bug removal in the summer months, but its all good as long as its black in my book, and yes shinny black bikes are 1% faster than matt black ones due to better aerodynamics , that denim paint is just too dame grippy .

Love it! I forsee my next one being denim. Its a breeze to clean and keep clean. I'm not constantly washing it like my buddy and his SE Springer.

Denim, denim, denim! Absolutely love mine! Wizards makes a good denim cleaner spray, but most of the time the California duster does it. No regrets what so ever!!

I like the look of the denim black but I'm not sold on its durability. I've already seen several denim bikes on the road that look either faded or oily, and these bikes are only a couple of years old. What are they going to look like in 10 years?

I think both vivid and denim are cool but tend to agree as to what they will look like in a few years ...... a lot depends how they are looked after

well i think it's great i never did like to polish paint , my bike gets washed once a month and thats it, i don't want the cleanest one around. they are going to steal your nice clean shiny one first. and thats good for me. but for real , get what you want it's your bike only you have to like it.
