Default abs brake lines versus non abs

Does anyone know the difference between abs front brake lines and non abs brake lines?

abs lines are much longer...(stock that is). Your master cylinder line runs from master cylinder to abs control box behind the right side cover, then the second running from the box to the front calipers.
When you get into after market, you have three..A line from the master cylinder, usually down to around the bottom triple clamp (this is to vary for different bars) then a line to the box, and the last line is the same.

Hope this was what you were looking for.

Oh, non abs run straight from the master cylinder to the calipers

Besides the length, can I use a OEM abs line on a non-abs bike?

I have a 2022 low rider s non abs. The line from master cyl to junction box and then to front dual calipers is 1 piece expensive and if you are messing around with riser heights it just doesn't make sence. The abs model has a separate upper line that attaches to junction block that can be replaced on its own with different lengths depending on risers and bars. Can I use abs setup on non abs bike. Seems to me it should be fine

Guessing he figured it out 10 years ago, but maybe he's still working on it? 😀

Not much info out there on this topic. I'm going to see if my dealer has an abs bike and look at numbers on the hoses. My non abs says 2mm if it's different on abs models prob shouldn't go down that path maybe different pressures internally or something between the two

Typically, ABS uses a smaller diameter than non-ABS, because the pressure of the fluid is much higher. I could tell you on my trucks, but on the bikes, I don't have anything to offer, I'm afraid.
