Default 2009 RK Classic Drivers Backrest

Hi, newby here, but not to Forums.

I did a "search" and came up empty. I just picked up a 2009 Road King Classic. I want to add a Drivers Backrest to the factory RK seat. What do you guys suggest?

Thank you in advance

Fixed or adjustable? Adjustable, go with the HD one. Fixed, I like the Mustang one

Wow, thanks, that was fast. Yes, I want an adjustable. I did some research and read of other guys having fit problems with the HD adjustable one. It was old reading so they must have it all figured out now.

Thanks again

Default The HD fixed one can be adjusted too

and is a lot cheaper than the 'adjustable' one. Some seats come with their own built in backrest too so if you're thinking of a new saddle then you might want to consider that option as well.

I just picked up the HD fixed for my Street Glide. Not real happy with the fit. I'm going to try to have it modified.

I have the HD adjustable one and love it. There was one for sale here on the forums in the classifieds a couple of weeks ago. The whole set up was $175 I think and looked good as new.

Thanks, I was looking around in there and didn't see one. I did a "search" too and didn't come up with anything. Since I'm a "Newbie" here too, I can't post in the For Sale or Wanted section either. If you do see it, can you please tell me where you saw it at?

Thank you in advance,
Dom

I think it was listed with several other parts all in the same thread. It seems like it had "RKC" (Road King Classic) in the title but I could be wrong. Ive slept several times since I read that.
