I'm interested in switching out bars on my SG. I had a road king police, and loved the feel of the setup. Not sure what it is, but it feels different on my SG.

Do you like your stock bars? If you didn't what did you change them to and why? I don't want to be too high up, but maybe something more comfortable.

I have a mustang seat, and ride pretty much upright, and about half the time on the highway pegs..

I thought maybe the Heritage Softail stock bars would be nice, b/c so many roadking riders use them.. But someone said they are the same bars that are on the SG.. Don't know if that's true.

Any thoughts?

 

I switched to WO 575's a couple of years ago. I hated them for about a week before I got used to them. Now when I ride a rental or a friends bike with stock bars I feel really cramped. The only downsides are a little rear view mirror blockage and they put your hands a little more in the wind. But I find them really comfortable and like the looks with the hidden wires.

 

Check out Wild 1's WO575's. Had them on my 07 SG and liked them very much. Went a different direction on my 11 SG and like them too! Ride safe.

 

Changed out to the KW Ergo Up bars... They do block the mirrors (I moved to new location) but your hands are not in the wind

 

Does the lack of wind protection on your hands annoy you on the 575's?

 

Take a serious look at the khromewerks sweepers + 2. I put them on my street glide last year and love them and the price is right at about $65.

 

Not at all. It makes probably a 10 to 15 degree difference in when to put gloves on.

 

I am Still stock but eventually want to come back a little not really up. I hear the ergo back bars might be for me. so any pics of those would be great too.

 

Put the Sweepers on my Ultra over the past weekend. See my thread on some info about them. I think I'm going to like them...and I got mine for about $60 shipped, and the quality seems to be very well.

 

How do i find your thread and where did you get your sweepers ???
