SG Bars?? Who kept Stock, Who Upgraded??

Ok, Scott9804 and Racerx1, I think I can help both of you a ton. First Scott, Krome Werks had shipping times of 4 to 6 weeks. J & P Cycles had the same delivery times as well. I ordered my Ergo Ups from a local Harley Dealership who gets them from Drag Specialties who gets them from Krome Werks. Ordered them on a Saturday and HD gave me a delivery date of the following Tuesday. That Tuesday came with no delivery, Then they gave me the following Tuesday, It came with no delivery. Then they gave me the following Tuesday, again It came with no delivery but they came in the day after that so about 3 weeks on delivery. As for Factory Cables & Lines, I can't answer that. My first Handlebar change was to a HD Tallboy Touring Bar that HD installed for me. They wouldn't do it unless I went with the longer Clutch Cable and Brake Lines. The Tallboy Bars were only an 1 1/2 taller than Stock so my personal Opinion is, that was just a money thing. But with the longer cables and lines installed, the Ergo Install obviously was no problem. I do have some pics but I'm struggling with the Upload. Send me your Email Address and I'll shoot the pics straight to you. My address is sroper100@windstream.net As for the ride, I am 100% satisfied compared to stock or the Tallboy Bars. No more discomfort in my Shoulders or between my Shoulder Blades and the look is Awesome!!! (my Opinion)
Now Racerx1, the Ergo Standard Bars have almost the same dimensions as Stock Bars but with the flatter Grip position and that flatter Grip position is GREAT by the way. Sounds to me like that is exactly what you're looking for. Klock Werks Website has two diagrams showing the dimensions of Stock Bars compared to all of their Bars. That was VERY helpful to look at. I was in the same boat as both of you. Tons of questions but not many Answers. I hope all this BS has helped you.

Just ordered a set of black Ergo Ups today.... I got my local shop to call Klock Werks and Drag Specialties to find out when they'd be in stock. They had the black ones in stock in every warehouse except NC, but the chrome ones are still back-ordered. I was torn on which ones to go with, but the availability made the decision easier to go with the black ones. Now I just hope the stock cables work out.... some say they did, some say they didn't..... we'll see I guess!!!!

Here's a "before and after" of my '07 Street Glide with Klock Werks Ergo Ups.... stock cables, hoses, wires (internal).... I had to remove the fairing mounted mirrors before I even installed the bars, I believe the clutch and brake levers would have hit them, but I like the mirrors on the perches better anyway. So far, I really like the bars.... a little pricey, but can you really put a price on comfort??
