Apes are going to be a for sure mod. Stock bars kill my back and shoulders over long rides. Not sure what kind will end up being the winners for me. But something around 12-13 inches.

I wish they would make more mirrors that mount to the SG fairing mounts. Ones that were offset to either sit up higher or drop down lower than stock location to compensate for different bars.

Just curious... did you get the Ergo Ups put on yet??? I'm thinking about putting these on my '07 SG and one more opinion wouldn't hurt! Thanks

Had mine changed after 1st thousand miles. Short arms made for painful back and shoulders. Just told him what i wanted them to look like and had about 4 measuring sessions.

Switched mine out to the Wild 1 577's. So far so good, I really like them.

Hey Scott9804,
I got the Ergo Ups on about 3 weeks ago now and I absolutely love them! Hand position is right at the top of the Fairing just low enough that the Fairing still turns the Wind up over my Hands. The flatter design is great too. My Hands don't turn in & down anymore. The Comfort is almost as good as the Look, haha! They do look good though! Hope this helps!

I don't mind the position of the stock bars on my 06SG, but the wrist angle is no good. I find myself riding with my hand resting at an angle across the grip. Is the any bar that is basically the same position as stock, but with the grips turned out more perpendicular to the bike? I guess more like a beach bars angle?

Yes Sir.... that helps alot!! That's exactly what I want... to be as high as possible and still be in the wind "pocket" of the fairing. OK, I'm sold, Ergo ups it is! Now one more question... were you able to find them in stock somewhere or did you have to wait on them? I was about to pull the trigger on some on Ebay the other day, but I emailed the seller just to make sure they were in stock and they emailed me back to tell me that they are backordered till mid July.... very disappointing! Thanks for your help and I'm glad you got the bars you like... comfort on the bike is everything when it comes to enjoying the ride!!

Sorry to hitcha with so many questions sroper100, but I've got one more about the Ergo Ups.... cables, wiring, hoses?? I know Klock Werks claims they'll work with stock cables and stuff "on most models", but I've heard mixed stories about the matter. How'd they work out on your ride? Also, got any pics with the Ups installed?
