well i have to say i cannot stand the factory bars on the streetglides, i felt like i was reaching too far forward and too far down,it was giving me lower back pain and across my shoulders and up the back of my neck pain too. I installed the Hill Country Custom Cycles 16'' fairing kit and they solved ALL my problems AND look Great too!!! JMO though

Got them on eBay. They make a few different versions, based on bike. My were part number 300515 for my 08 Ultra.

aarrgghhh.. my old glide had stock bars and a lower solo seat and the bike fit me perfectly.
I've got 200 miles on this 11 SG now and I f*ckin hate the stock bars. The new frame is longer, taller and wider than the older frames and the reach to the bars sucks and bothers my right shoulder.

Definilty going with different bars. Like the Ergo Up's, the Sweepers +2 and the Wild ones. They all provide a little increase in hieght and more pull back than the stock ones. Fladers also makes bars and HD offer the tall boy and the pullback bars as well.

If your like apes and like the look , there are lots of choices for taller bars as well.

Put on the Santee 11" bars and love them, I need to get some new pics posted soon. I am one of those who don't like baggers with 13 or 14 inch apes. The tops of my hands are right at the windshield mounting bolts. Not too much and not too little.

Stock bars and no plans on changing them, they just fit for me. Stock seat too, maybe a Badlander or Mustang in the future.
