I think that would be your best route. If your friend doesn't have the equipment and knowledge to do the heads correctly you could wind up worse off than if you had left them alone.

I have an 06 EG Classic punched out to 95ci and makes 105hp 107tq and a 06ultra thats still 88ci with SE 203 cams SE Big Sucker AC, SERT and Rinehart True duals. It makes 85hp and 94tq. If i ever have to go internal for anything the 88 will become a 95. 20 hp is a BIG jump in a bike. You'll like the 95

What other work do you have to your classic?

I hit the wrong button last night. It is an 05 not 06. It has SE race heads with manual comp releases, SE crank, SE257 cams, SE ac, SERT and rineharts. It is a beast to ride. at 3700 rpms you better be hangin on! Not much tq down low due to the 257 cams, they are high revving cams. At 6000 rpms its still makin hp! Oh and i have a SE race clutch. Bike will pull the front wheel 8inches in 2nd gear and bump it off the ground in 3rd.

It is! The best thing is blowing away these guys that have gone out and bought 103s and 110s because they think they are gonna be fast.
