Police, fire, ems do you let people know

No markings for me-- I love my job after 32 years and wasnt thrilled when I got moved to a slower district. But I dont need evil people to know whom I am when Im off. Especially since my wife is riding with me so much. Yet you will never see me without at least a 9, but usually a 45. Of course you will never know I have it either.

I'm not a cop when I'm on my bike, or in my personal car, or in my house. No need advertise so some dirt bag can make me, my family or my property their target. I know a lot of my fellow officers like FOP plates on the vehicles. I say no thanks. I prefer anonymity.

I have been a LEO for over 10 years and I have nothing on my bike that says that. That is the last thing I want. I will tell you most of the time you can tell who the coppers are without looking for accents on their bikes. Either by how they dress, shirts tucked in with no belts, or style of clothing, or you can tell by the way that they ride... a majority of the guys I ride with are coppers also and they all can ride and ride well!
Riding my bike (as others have said) is my time. The last thing I want is a problem when someone says oh your a cop, or has that dumb questions everyone seems to ask when they realize that your a cop.
