2011 flhx first fall
i was polishing my outter front shell to get the scrathes out and my bike fell
on it side..i cheep the front otter shell and an mirror broke off. was wondering how
hard it is to take the front otter shell off. thanks for any help...

Bummer. I have seen many threads here on removing the outer shell. Do a search and it will come up.

Translation.... I was polishing the front fairing and my bike fell over, chipping the fairing and breaking the mirror off. How hard is it to get the front outter fairing off.... Translation complete

Remove the screws than hold the windshield. Remove the windshield.
The rest of the screws holding the outer fairing on are around the inner fairing, and just in front of the tank.

I'm not being a smart *** here at all! I'm serious... How does a bike just fall over when wiping it down? (and what does that have to do with removing a fairing?)
