Just to update my 2014 comp that I just installed in OCT 2013 to replace the SE comp I had installed about a year before is shot. It amazing that I've had it in half the time as the previous Comp and half the miles as the last one and it's already gone. So much for the new design.

There's not a lot that can be done because its one of those things that has to be replaced, at least now if you already have a SE comp on all you have to buy and pay for is the comp, not the rotor as well. Still I'm not wanting to pay a couple hundred every six to seven months on a part that should last!

Are you running ATF or SAE 80?

I just went and looked at the kutter HD web site and they still have record of my ordering the comp and there SE parts book said this part has a 1 yr warranty, I wonder if they honer a warranty if its not installed by Harley on a part bought online? Its still to early to call.

As figured with the warranty, Parts must be installed at an authorized Harley-Davidson dealership and have record to show that they did the work.
