Default SG Tour Pak / Antenna

For any SG owner who installed a King Tour Pak on their bike and is using the supplied antenna mount that is mounted on the back of the Pak, did you use the original cable/connector that went to the saddlebag mount at the rear of the bike?

And if you did, I'm assuming it's long enough to be routed into the Pak and hooked up to the male connector inside the Pak.

Helping a friend order parts and install the Pak on his 2010 SG and want to make sure I have all the parts ordered before starting the install.

I have the opposite situation. On my 09 Classic the antenna cable that was hooked up to the King Tour Pak antenna is long enough to attach to the new mount I installed on the bag support, which is in a similar location on the SG.

So, assuming the cables are the same length, I should be good.....But we know what happens when we assume!!!

Harley sells you a kit that leaves the antenna mount in the tour pack and connects to the original antenna location on your bike.

This way everything is quick detach.
