Not sure why I felt better on RK than SG..

The RK is a cushier ride due to 13" vs 12" shocks on the SG. That is easily fixable though. Looking over the fairing is a bit different as well, but I got used tothat in a few miles. I don't plan on going back to an RK, just my preference.

I just traded in my 2007 Road King Custom for my Street Glide and I love the change.... other than the wind. My Klock Werks windshield is on the way and then I should be totally happy.

Exactly! 57 here, and except for the helmet (the law), I feel the same way.

i thought that i wanted a SG, but just really like the look and the ride of the RK.
I got my dream bike, and it has what i wanted. Yahoo.

if it was a stock streetglide you rode, then sure it sucked. that windshield that comes stock on them looks great on the showroom floor, but in the real world of riding, it places the airblast right in your face. a lot of guys, including myself, have changed out the short stock sg windshield for something that actually works.
