You may have replaced the levers with those for an earlier model. Without the right shape to depress the clutch switch the lockout won't work. Ask me how I know this.

no bar or lever mods yet..... guessin it just dont work?to bad im out of warrentie i really woulda liked to hear its normal just 1 more time.
