Exclamation Handbrake vibration

When my engine is running the handbrake lever vibrates and is noisy. I can move the lever up and down with my hand. I'm not knowledgeable of this so I would not like to try something that would make it worse. Can someone steer me in the right direction?

In the future, post the year bike so we know which setup you have. However, for your 02 Ultra go to HD and get 45423-96 lever pivot bushing $2.50 and a 11143 retaining ring $1. Take off the old retaining ring underneath the perch with snap ring pliers and pop the pin out. Change the bushing and put it back together and use the new retaining ring. That should help. You can also get 45032-82 pivot pin $6.75 if you want in case the other is worn, but it really shouldn't be.

Thank you Dawg for the help. I've written it down word for word and I will keep it in my file for any future problems. My bad in not citing the info on my bike.
