Damn, if I figured that correctly from that parts list, they are going to be expensive to replace all the hardware. Looks like a ballpark of $415 plus locks.

I sometimes use that just to get the part number, then start shopping around for cheaper sites...sometimes Chicago harley, depends on part...good luck.

For used parts, I usually figure 40% to 60% of list price. I tend to use Zanotti's or Chicago HD's web site or someone like them. (They also tend to get my business when i do buy new because of this "service" that they provide.) If these bags are "exactly" what you want then I'd start with the 60% number. Then deduct your cost (including shipping and sales tax if any) for all the parts and pieces that will be needed to bring the bags up to what a new set would cost you from Zanotti or similar. . . and that is the absolute most I would pay. I've seen folks sell stuff on eBay used for almost what a new part costs. I usually try and seriously educate myself before I go shopping locally or on the internet . . . 'cause it can really pay to do so!

If they are what you want I say buy them and take your time gathering the parts. Time is money. I bet you can do it for $150-200 if you buy used and dont get in a hurry.

Not sure of the value, that depends on you As for the latches, and hardware look on e-bay and you may get some really banged up bags for cheap, then all you need is a lock set to match your ignition key and away you go.

I really want stretched bags but I dont want to pay $700 for a set that need paint and hardware. I dont want them stretched like the ones that completely cover the exhaust. I would like to have the ones that are stretched just a little like the SE bags. I just saw these and thought I could at least change up the look of my bike sometimes by putting these on and they're already painted to match. Looks like a full set of the harware for them on eBay is up to about $360 with 3 hours of bidding left.

I mounted a set of hard bags from an '05 Ultra Classic onto my '07 Road King Classic. I only had to adjust the mounts a little to allow the pins to fit correctly.

That's the same hard bags my friend went with and by the way, you could buy the latch set and locks on ebay for much lest then the 200-300 range.
