Default Heel - Toe shifter

I have an 07 RG, currently with a toe shifter. I'd like to change over to a heel-toe shifter (pic attached). I have an opportunity to pick this up locally for a pretty good price. The new shifter is off a 2009 Street Glide. Will this fit ?? And, do I need anything else to make the change-over ?? Thanks

Easy bolt-on, no fitment issues.

Default Heel Toe Shifter

If the unit originally had a heel toe shifter the spline length should be long enough. I seriously doubt the spline has changed at all in dimension. It should fit. You'll need another screw though. One is missing in the picture. They are usually allen head type as well not that that should matter.

Yes it will fit but take a good look at the front especially to see if it has signs that it will strip out soon. They can be good at that. Ask me how I know....

if your current shifter is spaced out, then you will need to remove the spacer and you'll see two places on the shifter shaft that are splined. those should be very easy to find as many like myself remove the heel section. you'll be good to go if you get even just a rear lever to go with your front one.

I would recommend using Loctite on the bolts. Heel shifters are bad about falling off.

If you want to go with just adding the heel shifter pm me. Took mine off at 5200 miles and it is sitting in a drawer in the shop. Hate those things.

If he doesn't, I'll be happy to cover shipping for it. Mine is FUBARed.

If he declines or does not get back to me it's yours. Do you need the peg too or just the lever?
