Default V&H Twin Slash Mufflers?

I've narrowed down the mufflers I want to two choices; the Klock Werks Super Saver Straight-Cut Shorts, or the V&H Twin Slash Rounds. I pretty much have all the info I need on the Klock's, but am still on the fence with the V&H Twin Slash muffs. For those that have them, can you please offer your opinion on Sound at Idle, Sound at Freeway Speed, Overall Performance, etc. Pics are always nice too...!!!

Not that I think it matters much, but these muffs will be mated with headers as well, either Fullsac or V&H Dresser Duals, though I'm leaning toward the Dresser Duals.

Have you considered the V&H Twin slash Monster Ovals? If you like the twin slash look, you may want to check them out. BTW, I like them and they have a nice deep sound and not too loud, but loud enough.

I would probably fancy the Ovals on a RGU, but for my RGC, I prefer the Round look. Anyway, glad to hear you like them. Any more details of how they sound at freeway speed.....6th gear at about 3k RPM...maybe 70-75 mph?

I have Dresser Duals with the Twin Slash Rounds on my Road King.

I really like them a lot. They are very throaty at idle, really bark on accelleration, and very noticeable but not too loud for me cruising.

I would buy them again.

Don't know if it matters at this point, but the V&H twin slash are EPA compliant, but still rumble pretty good.

Default Twin slash rounds

I'm real happy with mine. I won't repeat what 2004 said, so

If ya can get past this guys heavy accent, here's a pretty good vid of look and sound.

I had the Twin Slash Rounds on my 09 Street Glide (No Cats) and I thought they sounded good. Good rumble at idle, good bark on acceleration, not too loud while cruising. They will also be on my 2011 Street Glide when it's finished. Overall, they are a good deal for the money.
