Default Target AFR's for Baggers

I spent some time looking through the old threads on target AFR's but I want to re-ask the question. This post might get pushed to the tuning section, but I am talking in terms of tuning baggers.

It seems like there are differing opinions on where to set target AFR's. Some set AFR's in the 14.6 range closer to stoich down to 14.25, inside the usable range of the O2 sensor. Other maps dump a ton of fuel starting at 13.8 which is fairly typical of a Fuel Moto map. Maybe Jamie can chime in and share his thoughts.

I know more fuel means more cooling and less decel pop, but are these richer AFR's really gaining a lot more Torque and HP? I'm not certain I know enough to ask the right questions, so let me know what you think concerning your thoughts on the subject.
