Default Road Glide or Street Glide????

I have been kicking around the idea of trading in my Dyna and getting a Road/Street Glide with the Power Pack 103". I want to know the Pros and Cons of each bike.

I like the Road Gide because its different. But the Street Glide looks so good.

BTW: I like the Red Street Glide and the Denim Black Road Glide.

The only honest answer is to test ride each under the same conditions,
that way you can compare apples to apples........

You need to ride them both before you make a decision. They seem to handle very differently, but I'm guessing some of that is due to the fixed position of the fairing on the RG. I rode them both, and love my 2010 Denim Black Road Glide.

I like them both but got the street glide. The gauges on the road are a little too far away for me

Love my Street Glide - sits a little lower than RG, ride's a tad stiffer too, but can't go wrong w/either. As other state - go take them for a spin & see which one fits...good luck!

Here's my unofficial analysis of the geographical difference.

Guys out west like the RG because of the frame mounted fairing. More wind out west and less buffeting with the RG fairing.

Guys out east like the SG because chicks dig it. #uck the wind.

Now, your choice.

I went and test rode a new and used one of both bikes to make my decision. You need to take several good test rides to get a good feel for both. After my first test rides I was leaning towards going with the RG.

I took a few more test rides then waited a day to go back and look at the bikes again. I spent about a hour looking at the 2 bikes and found myself spending more time with the SG so I bought it.
