Not a woman ever born that can locate a fuel gage. Text, put on makeup, smack the kids, they are pros at that. But fuel gauge??? I guess it's all she could come up with. Glad your OK. Get the scoot fixed and maybe she learned her lesson.

Glad you're alright, hope this experience won't negatively affect you or your OL.

Like others have mentioned, I always leave it in first gear and positioned for quick escape for the walking dead. I've left several scenes because of brain dead people that refuse to see us. I agree, the bright *** brake light looks like a great investment.

This in a huge way. You should ALWAYS leave the bike in gear and your foot on the brake at a stop light, along with keeping a distance between you and the vehicle in front of you so you can pull out of the way. Having the brake applied, if you are hit, can help keep you from being flung into the car in front of you or wherever. But its better to dump the clutch and hit the throttle and pull off.

Keeping the bike in gear and foot on the brake isn't too popular though as its uncomfortable and isn't as easy to continuously rev the throttle while looking around to see what attention you are getting.

Bad trip, but I'm glad ya'll are ok.As riders today, with our brake light's,and blinkers,we forget to use hand signal's,believe me they can save your *** big time.the signal to get a rig behind you to see you is:Raise your left hand, and wave it to the right, and back. You will be surprised how this can get attention from traffic behind you.

I take it you'll settle "out of court", in that case...eh?

Glad you're ok.

Sorry to hear about the accident & glad everyone is ok.
+1 on what he said..BAL 2 was well worth the $400 but with 12 LEDs, there is not a chance someone can't notice you stopped.

Glady you are not hurt...

Not suggesting that you take unwarranted advantage of the situation but if I were you, I would have your scooter checked out real good. As I understand, just a very little bit of damage to the frame (i.e. bent bracket, etc.) can "total" a bike. You don't want to wait and find something like this at trade-in time.

Same thing happened to me last year. Cept I got hit, my *** went to the back seat but I held on... then she hit me again. That's when the on coming traffic was about a foot from my front tire. Sucks

Glad to hear you are OK.
