Ricor vs Ohlins
#11
I've had both brands the ride quality is better as it should be neither is cheap, what turned me off about the ohlins was the spanner wrench needed to adjust them with the ricor no special tool is required their hand adjustable makes it easy to dial in one or two up riding conditions that's one of the reasons why I prefer the ricor. Either way you go you can't go wronge their both great shocks.

i've had no experience with either the ohlis or ricor, but i do know that anything has to be better than harley's stock air shocks. this is a place where harley really cheaped out, is on the suspension. oh well, it gives us a reason to spend money. progressive isn't even in the ballgame compared to what i read about the ohlins and ricors. pricey$ yes, but i'm going to be going with likely the ohlins myself.

Frankly if BMW fit Ohlins as stock, Harley should do as well, or a comparable quality of shock.
