hello guys, in anticipation of the new handlebar mount 13 "Cyclesmith, I ask you how many cm should be lengthened the wires (I think there is a connector for each side to change).
The cable brake and clutch to what should be longer

I ride a 2008 street glide i.e. 1584cc


Has anyone done this kind of change?

I had 13" Cyclesmith on my 05 EGC and used +6 on cables and brake line. Did not need to extend the wires, you should have plenty. You may need to reroute your plugs under the radio, but should work fine. Good luck.

Take pics as you go and plenty of notes and draw diagrams of wires and colors to there location. They will be priceless later when your putting all back together.

 

+1 on the +6" I am just too stupid to convert to cm.

 

i used same bars but cant remember the cable lengths, shawn at drvtwin put the same bars on his bike and new the size off the top of his head. Don't forget to change your riser bushings it"ll make a big difference, i used alloy art and am very pleased with them.

 

You have almost the same set up as my bike. Was wondering how it would look with black handlebars. Badass
