Wachuco,

Thanks for the great tip! I picked up the parts at Radio Shack and installed mine tonight. Works perfect. Only thing I did differently was to use my dremel to make a hole through the back side of the dummy socket so I could push the connector back into place with no visble wires, shrink tubed each wire then siliconed the hole.

Thanks again for the inesxpensive alternative to Harleys $100 siren!

Did the install this a.m. Works great. One thing I seem to have that I don't remember seeing is that I get a single chirp when I turn the ignition on and when the system sets when I turn it off. Anybody else have this?

Yep, same here. Don't go out and move the bike without the FOB handy or it will scream at you until you go get it. Loud in an enclosed garage.

Wait..I understand the need for the male pins , connection etc..etc...but why a 9 pin connector. Why not buy the applicable molex ( I think its called ) connector from HD. It's like 6 dollars then run your wireing and wallah..why buy a 9 pin for a 3 pin connection. I .probably sound like I belong on a short yellow bus with a larger helmet , but my connector doesn't seem to need a 9 point set up
